A Flexible Option

If you want to straighten your smile, but are hesitant about wearing visible metal braces, Invisalign from Daniel & Jones Orthodontics could be a great fit for you.

The Invisalign Process

Dr. John Daniel, Dr. Alex Jones, and Dr. Addison Walker use Invisalign clear aligners to create your perfect smile.

Invisalign uses a series of customized, clear trays. These aligners gradually straighten your teeth, and with fewer office visits to our offices in Little Rock, Benton, or Bryant than traditional braces.

They’re removable, near-invisible, and customized by Dr. Daniel, Dr. Jones, or Dr. Walker just for your teeth and mouth. Invisalign aligners are much more comfortable than traditional metal bracket braces and can give you stunning results.

When you come to Daniel & Jones Orthodontics for your free consultation at our Little Rock, Bryant, or Benton office, we'll take photos and X-rays to create a 3D image of your mouth.

Dr. Daniel, Dr. Jones, or Dr. Walker will make your first set of custom-fitted aligners from these images, and then you’ll begin the process of straightening your teeth.

You’ll probably wear your Invisalign clear aligners for 9–15 months, and will typically use 18–30 sets during your treatment at Daniel & Jones Orthodontics.

You wear the trays for about 22 hours a day as recommended by our doctors, but you can remove them to brush your teeth and eat. You’ll wear several sets of trays throughout your orthodontic treatment at Daniel & Jones Orthodontics, based on your individual needs. You’ll start to notice a change in just a few months!

A Modern Strategy

Invisalign takes a modern approach to straightening teeth. They use a custom-made series of aligners created for you and only you. These aligner trays are made of smooth, comfortable and virtually invisible plastic that you wear over your teeth.

Wearing the aligners will gently move your teeth into place little by little, based on the exact movements Dr. Daniel, Dr. Jones, or Dr. Walker plan for you.

There are no metal brackets to attach and no wires to tighten. You just pop in a new set of aligners about every two weeks until your treatment is complete.

At Daniel & Jones Orthodontics, you can reach a great smile without a treatment that gets in the way of your daily life.

The best part about the whole process is that most people won’t even know that you’re straightening your teeth.

This nearly-invisible option to straighten your teeth is truly changing the way people see orthodontic treatment in Little Rock.

Invisalign can be used to handle all kinds of simple and complex cases. From crowding to spacing, underbites to overbites, Dr. Daniel, Dr. Jones, and Dr. Walker can use clear aligners to help you reach your ideal smile.

Our orthodontists have a lot of experience treating people with Invisalign, and we’re excited to offer this technology to our Little Rock braces patients.

Differences Between Invisalign & Braces

Unlike traditional braces, Invisalign doesn't have metal components that can irritate your mouth.

Because they’re removed when you eat, you won't have to watch what you eat like you would when wearing braces – bring on the popcorn and gum.

In fact, you must remove your aligners before eating or drinking anything besides water. You need to make sure you’re willing to do that before you decide on Invisalign.

To prevent staining, you’ll need to clean your teeth before putting the aligners back on after each time you eat. Of course, brushing and flossing are much easier than with traditional braces, since you don’t have to work around any brackets and wires.

Invisalign & Cooperation

When it comes to Invisalign treatment, there’s a lot to consider. Most patients with clear aligners from Daniel & Jones Orthodontics enjoy shorter check-ups, fewer appointments, better oral hygiene, and fewer emergency visits.

However, the system's biggest pro can also be a con - the ability to remove your aligners. Your compliance is an essential part of the treatment’s success, more so than with braces.

Since braces are attached to your teeth, they do the heavy lifting to keep your treatment moving forward. Clear aligners mean that you’ll need to do a little extra work during your treatment so your trays can complete your treatment efficiently.

Like with traditional metal braces, we recommend wearing a retainer after your Invisalign treatment to maintain your new alignment and your confident new smile.
